KUGB Grand Slam 2011

Many Congratulations to John Bruce, Holly Sterling, Megan Dent, Chris Hamilton, Sam Light and Beth Nicholson on an excellent performance at the Grand Slam on Saturday 26th February 2011. 

In the senior events Holly Sterling continued with her impressive record in both Kata and Kumite, taking GOLD and Bronze respectively. Sensei John started the day well by making the Kata final and winning his first fight, however due to an muscular injury picked up he was advised by Sensei Sherry to withdraw from the event. 

The Junior members continued with the excellent performances, Megan Dent won GOLD in the female under 17 years Kumite, while Beth Nicholson, making her debut, took a very respectable Bronze.
