KUGB National Championships 2010

The 44th KUGB National Championships took place on Saturday 15th May 2010 at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham. Sendai and Kushiro took a team of 10 competitors, all of whom performed impressively, taking five GOLD medals and one SILVER. During the opening ceremony John James Bruce was awarded his Long Standing Members award for 20 years service to the Karate Union of Great Britain.

John Bruce became only the fifth male to ever become KUGB Grand Champion since the championship began and in turn was awarded the ‘Sensei Enoeda memorial’ trophy.
