Sunderland Karate Championships - 2024

J. Bruce

30 Jun 2024

A fantastic day of competition at The Sunderland Karate Championship. Karate-ka came from across the country to compete and officiate. A huge congratulations to all of the competitors, many competing for the first time alongside some internationals. Everyone performed well but most importantly the attitude and etiquette was excellent.

A fantastic day of competition at The Sunderland Karate Championship. Karate-ka came from across the country to compete and officiate. A huge congratulations to all of the competitors, many competing for the first time alongside some internationals. Everyone performed well but most importantly the attitude and etiquette was excellent.

We would like to thank all of the helpers, the table officials, referees and judges, medic staff and the University staff.

Finally a huge thanks to the support that we have received from our sponsors Collin Schubert,  Ashington Shotokan Karate, Jill Kelly, Trish Bruce and Kokoro Karate Club - Blyth & Cramlington for the event.
